30 Bold and Beautiful Swimmers.
7 Boulderdashers
We went across to the harbour again this morning for both the swims. For the boulderdash we swam from the wharf to little manly and back, for the 7am swim we swam to the pools and back.
The swims were both very good, calm and clear. Alexs saw a nice bull-ray, there were also gropers, fantail leatherjackets, a wirrah, a swimmer crab and many more, with all these fish in the sea it is not surprising Chris found a brand new fishing rod on the swim back (see the pic).
Reports from the sea-side are that the bluebottles seem to be gone so we will do the Shelley swim tomorrow.

Was a nice calm swim, but looking forward to the sea again .. Only have to worry about the New Zealand coast guard on that side.

Nice swim beetween the moored boats (and the fishing lines at the point :-). The 3km swim really felt like a 1km swim in the very flat sea, very enjoyable.
Ok let’s try Shelly again tomorrow, I’ll bring some jellyfish repellent 🙂
