Over 55 Bold & Beautiful Swimmers.
Water Temperature 16.8 degrees. But I think Michael’s thermometer is still suffering jet lag after the 32 degree water temp in Reunion… Oh My Gosh that was cold, it was warmer in the snow in the UK than in the water here ! It was too cold for the 6km swim although Roberto, John, Sandy & Kelly made the pipe & back and Gaetan & Len a little further still 🙂
There was a large Bull Ray and a flat head at Shelly Beach, Linda was expecting a Polar Bear…
Sunrise 5.38am.
Sunset 7.59pm.
Low Tide: 6.20am.
High Tide: 12.42pm.

Julie, indeed, what a gorgeous welcome back! This was the best weather and the quietest sea since you left! Yes ok it was cold but hey, there’s wetsuits for that :-))
Thanks to James (I believe his name is James :-)) for coming with us to the heart on the rescue board.

Welcome back Michael & Jules. Thanks to Michel & co. for looking out for us over the last few weeks. Cold enough to freeze your JINGLE BELLS off. Enjoyed the marine life this morning and the laughter at the point.

Welcome back Jules and Michael. What a change in conditions with clear skies and calm water – what a shame the water temperature was not suitable for the 6km swim. However I enjoyed the swim and board paddle.

Must have been cold then. Getting warmer here, it got up to 6 degress today. Makes a change from minus temperatures.
