Over 60 Bold & Beautiful Swimmers. 11 swimmers for Bolderdash, the best conditions we’ve had yet; flat, warm and clear apart from some red spring bloom in places ! I missed my little pilot fish accompanying me all the way up and back though… Saw a beautiful shark on the way back, right underneath me, it must be the same one Gavin saw on Monday in about the same place, lovely to see as long as they don’t get any bigger !
Huge numbers for our regular 7am swim which is awesome, I counted 63 swimmers but only 60 ticks… PLEASE remember to tick when you come for a swim, thank you. Libby saw a small dusky whaler shark at Shelly Beach – it’s nice to see them back.
Water Temperature 20.5 degrees.
Sunrise 5.47am.
Sunset 7.31pm.
High Tide: 11.49am.
Low Tide: 6.39pm.

A couple of old adversaries swam with me today, Panic and cramp.
I’ve not swam to Shelly for about 3 weeks and it shows. Humm, must try harder tomorrow.

That would be 5 of us that I’m aware of:
Michael, Lori, Gaetan, James and myself, maybe Nanette too – did you ???

Well the three musketeers swam again today in the Bolderdash swim. Myself, Gaetan and Kelly, side by side the whole way down and back!!
Thanks again Kelly, for setting a great pace. I was stretched to the limit, but I really enjoyed it. Keep up the good work.

side by side… hmmm I wish… but i mainly saw the soles of your feet Michael! In the Tour de France they would call this “the accordion effect”.
I don’t think I am ready to get rid of the flippers anytime soon :-)))
Indeed it was a great swim, as usual!
