I don’t know about you, but I love an inspirational quote. Each morning that I come down to do the B&B swim I am reminded of the quote that I have used for today’s blog.
It is not too hard to have a grateful heart when you start the day by looking at a beautiful sunrise and swimming with good friends.
Some of you may have noticed that the water temperature has dropped four degrees in the past fortnight. But don’t be discouraged, it was still fairly comfortable at 20.6 degrees.
Sterling and Woody are quite excited about the new A-Team swimming caps, here is Sterling modelling his new cap.
It really was a spectacular sunrise this morning.
Join Annie and Vicky next Thursday, 17th March at Sunkissed Bar (formerly the Tap House) for an evening of Style, Makeup and mindset strategies and leave with the tools to design a life you love! Bubbles, giveaways and special surprises all part of the fun. Only $35 and gift it to a friend for free! https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/i-heart-my-life-evening-workshop-tickets-22387515662
Sometimes there’s just nothing like a good hug from mum! Lily, Elliot and Jude regularly come down to watch Toddy do the swim, what a great way to start the day.
Sterling, David, Toddy and Jacques casually posing for a photo, but….
Rob came first this morning!
We celebrated John Hiron’s 70th Birthday this morning! It was also Greg Marinan’s birthday.
John is a really great guy, he rescued Shelley and I when we were stuck during the terrible storm at around Easter last year. John drove Shelley and I home when we were soaking wet from getting caught in a storm. Shelley and I are very grateful John, thank you.
Unfortunately Kara Clarke couldn’t make the swim this morning as she was rowing, this also looks like a great way to start the day.
This has been my first blog 🙂
I hope you all have a lovely day!

Hey B & B crew
Ooh those temps are dropping!
HOW MUCH DO YOU LOVE THAT POST SWIM BREW AFTERWARDS?
This weekend we’ll have Reusable Keepcups for sale before and after the 7am swims.
Take a moment and tally how many disposable coffee cups your swim ritual amounts to every day/week/year.
The plastic waste from these few moments of bliss to the lips does not go away, it lasts a lifetime in landfill or worse in our oceans! Food for thought – there is enough plastic in 20 disposable cups to make a small KeepCup.
It’s time to kick that disposable cup habit and it’s going to take everyone one of us to step up and reduce our plastic footprint to protect our magnificent oceans.
So when you front up for your next takeaway brew feel good with your Aussie made cool reusable keepcup or gift a friend who loves their caffeine fix on the go!
You can also order your Keepcup online in advance and collected at the swim meets on the dates below. Visit http://www.bommieaustralia.com.au
Manly Point Cafe is also showing their support in protecting our patch of paradise by including a $2 coffee voucher for every Keepcup sold over the weekend and pledging to become a Responsible Cafe.
Cheers
