Tim Giovanelli recently spoke about the difference between existing and living, and I’ve been contemplating the distinction ever since. I’m pretty sure the difference between existing and living will mean different things to different people. I think we can all agree that we’re really making the most of the morning when we do the B&B swim, this is living.

It was a little overcast this morning and there was a cool breeze but it was still a really beautiful morning and well worth getting up early to do the swim.

Yoga on the beach, this is living.

There were three new swimmers this morning and Boris was one of them.

It’s really good to see Boris is already fitting right in. After all, the B&B swim is really all about the lovely people you get to see each morning.

I believe Spaniard had a great session on his surf ski this morning, and I’m sure Spaniard would agree that this is living.

Bruce and Billy had a nice morning chat.

Roger and Bianca caught up over coffee after doing the 6.30am swim.

It’s always lovely to see the faithful regulars like Jill and John.

It’s also always lovely to see Eva and Sterling down at the swim.

Here are the three musketeers before the 7am swim.

Theses guys need no introduction…

Here is the gorgeous Katrina.

The boys love a good coffee after the swim.

Ros and Jill also enjoyed a good coffee at Havanas.

I thought I might close with a quote by Charles Spurgeon, ‘It is not how much we have, but how much we enjoy, that makes happiness.’
I hope you all have a lovely day.
Meg

Staying safe
Remember that there are no badges for scaring yourself silly! While it is great to extend your boundaries, it is important to know your limits. Also, if you have a bit more experience, keep an eye out for new swimmers who might need company. Do read these excellent tips on staying safe in the surf. To read, or even download, click here.

Nice one Megan!
Good to see the A-Team making an appearance. Coverage has been suffering since Tim retreated from Thursday blogging.
Did anyone else get stung this morning?

Thanks for a great blog and pics Megan, curiously happiness is something that most people look back on and the morning swim certainly does that for me!

Beaut blog Megan, thank you. I just LOVED this mornings swim. It was nice and fresh (when the water is too warm might as well be a bath!) and the clarity was superb, fish life was fab. An energising swim.
