29 Bold & Beautiful Swimmers. The sun’s out and it’s flat again – yippee. The westerly has blown the surface water out so the cooler water came up to pay us a visit but not too cool thankfully – it was a beautiful swim with good viz and a couple of Port Jacksons were out on show.
Water Temperature 16.9 degrees.
Sunrise 6.07am.
Sunset 5.40pm.
High Tide: 7.11am.
Low Tide: 12.54pm.

Yet another beautiful day. Clear water, flat and plenty of room with only about thirty swimmers. Tomorrow there will be a three metre swell off the coast but its mainly coming from the south with a south westerly wind, so we will be lucky to have a two inch swell in Manly. Added to this the fact that the offshore bouy went to nearly 19c a short while ago. So for the next week or so I think we can look forward to beautiful flat ocean with warm water and lots of marine life.

1 sick dog meant we couldn’t make the morning swim so Tim and I created our own B&B splinter group today (just the 2 of us though) surprising how flat and clear the water was considering the past few days weather. I must add, its a lot warmer swimming at lunchtime than at 7am!
looking forward to a flat water week.
errr. Michael, if you could arrange for 19 or 20 degrees that would be nice.
PS. dog is back on form and ready to growl at jules next time she strokes him.
