A beautifully, beautifully, stunning morning with flat, warm water and 33 dusky whaler sharks !!! There must be a shark convention at Manly this morning 🙂

Oh no – Maxine told me it was Lee Coopers birthday this morning and I forgot to sing happy birthday at Shelly Beach.  I’m so sorry Lee !!!!  Happy Birthday, hope you have a lovely day 🙂

Dunstan Bertschinger has taken to some post swimming stretching at coffee in the mornings as evidenced in the attached photo. Probably best if you ask him why… !!

There have been a few things stolen from Manly Beach and from the front of Manly Life Saving Club over the last few weeks. The lifeguards said they believe there is a local person coming past and taking something everyday, they appear to be after money and phones.

John’s bag was found yesterday in the Coles carpark, a cleaner kindly handed it in and everything was there apart from his wallet.

So it’s best if you don’t bring any valuables down in the mornings. Cane from the kiosk (the whole in the wall cafe) now has a B&B bucket that he is happy for you to leave your car keys in whilst we swim. Please ONLY use this for car keys though, thank you.
Patrick Coleman also reminded me of this great invention: surf keys ! If you go to any locksmith they can cut you a surf key for your car key which you can get wet. You can’t start the car with it but you can open the car door !
