05/10/2011 – AAA…

October 5, 201110

47 ‘ticked’ Bold & Beautiful swimmers.
Including three first timers; welcome to Sophie, Cec and Laurel from Hawaii !!

Iain McGregor and Roberto Suares braved an early Bolderdash… and 5 swimmers continued on for a double lap.

Our little part of the ocean is pretty damn nice right now, even if the skies are grey; we were graced with a baby wave and a flat crossing in reasonably clear water this morning.

Quite a few fish, noticeably lots of Flatheads and Port Jackson Sharks including baby ones around at the moment and the odd damn Jimble too.

The first ‘early’ photo today is courtesy of Gaetan Guilhon and the second courtesy of James Goins.  Thanks heaps guys !

The ‘Adams Arrival Anticipation’ is driving us nuts, come on The Adams Family we can’t wait for our next B&B baby to join us…
please come soon !! We’re pretty sure Mummy and Daddy are keen for you to come soon too 😉

Tim’s fact of the day: “If a lobster loses a claw or an eye, it is usually able to grow another, although the new one is usually smaller.”

Water Temperature 17.7 degrees.
Air Temperature 12 degrees.
Sunrise 6.28am.
Sunset 7.00pm.
Low Tide: 9.29am.

High Tide: 6.04pm.

Roberto and Iain: how was the Bolderdash? Looks pretty dark!

thanks for the great camaraderie and the ‘shaka’ photo; friends back home will shiver in more tropical climes, but i’m so energized from one cold swim – wow, what will 365 days of this do 🙂

how terrifyingly dark was it at 6am? I’m thinking of acting as lure to the baby white whale, it might think I am its mother and do a bolderdash with me.
