38 ‘ticked’ Bold & Beautiful swimmers.
Cloudy skies and a bit of a wave with a beautiful Port Jackson right in the break at the point, just under the white water which was kinda cute.
Once you got past the point it was a calm swim to Shelly and back although with patchy visibility; some spots were clear and others a tad murky.
7 swimmers kicked on for a double, 6 without wetsuits !
Cathie Coleman was at Manly Ocean World yesterday and learnt that: “a group of dolphins is called a gam.”
Tim’s fact of the day:
“A female oyster over her lifetime may produce over 100 million young.”
A great new on tour photo from Ben Thompson entering Lake Kenissis, Ontario, Canada. Apparently the water was about 17 degrees yesterday when Ben jumped in but it will be frozen solid in a month or two.
Ben says that swimming in salt water is 100 times easier than the fresh water of Lake Kenissis.
Check out the last photo of Brigitte Bowes with her very own well earned ‘Cold & Beautiful’ Badge already sewn on her nappy. Yes, that really is her nappy, which I am assured she will be wearing proudly. How cute is that !! Will Brigitte be getting her very own winter badge next year !?
Happy 51st Wedding Anniversary to Bruce and Coral Paterson today !! Wow that’s a long time, congratulations 🙂

Thank you for all the congratulations. Brigitte and I are doing well, and we can’t wait to come down for a swim. Brigitte is very excited to meet all the wonderful people who are the B&B family! 🙂 xxx
Jules, Pete forgot to tick his attendance at swimming today, I’m a little concerned about his forgetfulness….Is he going to be an ok dad?
