27 Bold & Beautiful Swimmers. Bolderdash swims started this morning with 11 of us getting in the water at 5.50am for the 3km swim to Queenscliff and back, a decent wave but nice out the back, we even swam over the shark nets…!
For those of you who are interested, Bolderdash will be at 5.50am every Mon, Wed & Fri.
Jenny K led the regular Shelley return swim at 7am, by all accounts it was a great swim just a bit scary on the way back in.
Water Temperature 19.2 degrees.
Sunrise 5.55am.
Sunset 7.23pm.
Low Tide: 10.17am.
High Tide: 4.36pm.

OMG I got wasted in a wave, the board ended 100 meters up the beach and for the second time this weekend I panicked.
There is no doubt who is in charge out there, Mother Nature, and she was having a moody morning.
Well done to those who swam today, you are braver than I am. Never been out to the shark nets before though so that was something different.

Hey Jules did you notice how I maneuvered myself onto the inside of you as soon as I saw the bloody shark nets! There was no way I was being the wing man….but I didn’t realise Michael and Nick were swimming way out towards New Zealand.
Its been an adrenalin racing couple of days…or I just have a death wish….or I could just be INSANE 🙂

Michael and Nick were swimming a bit out today, but that’s because Nick always wanted to settle in NZ. But we went over the shark nets too?? Maybe there was another further out. We had a vision on a board turn up and tell us we were too far out. Thanks Christine, but Nick always swims over near Auckland.
