Elizabeth and Bernhard post swim
Last week I was on Heron Island (hence the relatively few people in this blog as I got home late last night and got up a bit late) and was extremely fortunate to swim with one of these divine gentle giants

Everyone loves a baby turtle. This was one of a very late hatching. The survival rate of these little darlings is not high but I hope some got away from the waiting predators above and below the water
What am I listening to? Some more blues
Enjoy the day, folks

Thanks Anne.
JJ in kitten heels, that made my day… what an amazing performance. I can’t imagine what brought that title to mind; good to have you back anyway 😉

1 in 1000 baby turtles gets away and comes back to lay eggs 40 years later. Leonard reckons Janis got away (but in a different context), and yeah the kitten heels with the slacks suit

Good to be reminded of the sublime Janis Joplin. Very very nice swim today. Thanks for your photos
