Except this one…..hehe
Big day coming up on Saturday – JUNE 1! The start of the winter badges. We are all wearing Onesies (jumpsuits) to the swim (not of course IN the swim) AND certain people will receive their 500 KM badge! Below is screen shot of who will get one! (and of course after you pay for it) Shaun Denton is 3 swims away from getting his!
Lovely conditions again – if a little bit of a wave – which is always fun!
Now where do I start with this?!?! A photographer – Giles – is here to take ‘portraits’ of us all…. Below were his first subjects … it could ONLY get better from here…
Nope – look at the pose..shocking… so much for all those hours practicing in front of the mirror Lips…. he’s all blog no action!
Sarah and Georgi offering words of encouragement to Stephen and Nick…
Anyway…back to the swim….how could anyone miss this!!
Good fun waves on the way out…
At Shelly ..Lips back to his usual self…..
Some whirlpool action at the Point!!
and some wave action coming back in….
Bye for now….
ooh and of course a little plug for a photo-video I put together from photos of Winter 2012….has music so put your headphones on..at work 😀 Click here

Thank you Lesley. Yes 3 swims!!
The photographer was overjoyed at the start of his quest. He was after some character. Fine specimens of the Aussie male. He actually nearly packed up and went home but decided to stick around.
Note, – stick around ONLY because he heard about some dude with big lips!!
Great blogg Lesley. I love the cuttlefish fish shot. You really captured the essence of this fabulous marine creature.

Lesley I love the photo with the left arm and the water splash. Or is it right arm? Much better than those professional set up ones. Dear me.

Hello Wednesday B&Bers, I found a short sleeve/short leg wetsuit abandoned in the ladies’ change-room this morning. I’ll bring it with me when I next swim on Saturday. Let me know if it’s yours: 0466846055 Alison

Hahahah my favourite male swim celebrities lining up for the paparazzi….Love it.
And Sterch, was that you in almost ran over at the point???
oh yes…
Last Friday I managed to lose my goggles in all the commotion: they were View brand and the larger kind. Did anyone pick them up? please check you haven’t suddenly acquired two in the swim bag. Thanks so much.

Haha Fi, yes I did the underwater swim as you rounded the point. I didn’t think you saw me. (Maybe you did, thats why you swam so fast)

Bubbles, thanks for great blog job and flattering photos of me, both here and on FB. If only there was a way for me to return the favour. Wait! There is!
And heartfelt thanks for stopping the cuttlefish madness on the blog. There were 3 of them today. Chasing the cameras, desperate for a photo. How pathetic.

And I saw you too skinnyfi. Thanks for stopping and having a chat….NOT!
Noticed you were in front of Andrew this morning by a good 10 metres.
You haven’t lost your new script goggles already have you?
The photographer asked us to pose as he thought we’d be the main cover shot for the B&B booklet, or if not then some discrete mens mag he also shoots for!

Could all be mine, Ian. If unclaimed (except by me), we could sell them off for Royal Far West.
