Cracking morning… what a week… water is still warm enough to wear speedos (not impressed wetsuited Brad…), visibility is off the chops, and nice and flat. All that said, definitely a few less swimmers each morning now that winter is approaching!
I ran into Irishman Alex and his lovely lady friend Roxy this morning. Beautiful background, beautiful people. Alex has got a new job – congratulations mate!
The A-team had already assembled this morning at 6:59am. Sterling is back from a stint in hospital but under orders to stay out of the water for a week. I bet he swims tomorrow.
Management were patrolling for new swimmers. A John Kelly impostor tried to steal the lets go at Shelly Beach, but he was having none of that. Thank God for the law and order Management brings!
The A-team assemble at Shelly Beach. There is always a lot of talk of tactics for the race back. Jacques ‘Macron’ Lepron led the pack out. Bones in his wetsuit had a blinder… but ultimately is was the Spaniard and Brad in wetsuits who got the win.
Alright, here is what you’ve been waiting for. If you can name these two swimmers who got sliced racing around the rocks… you will go into the running for your very own A-team cap. Don’t get thrown by the sucking in of their guts…

OK, have a great day. This Sunday at Manly Life I’m preaching on how Paul while in jail wrote these beautiful letters that we still have today. You couldn’t be facing much worse than being locked up, and yet he used that time to create something profound that has lasted through the generations. What are you facing at the moment? No matter how bad it may seem, you can still use that time to bless others, be an encourager and make beauty out of ashes!

Well the Bishop gets scratched on the rocks every day! Would have to be some serious sucking in going on, but I’ll give him a vote for the one on the left and hope to at least win half an A-cap! x
