I’ll start with today’s sunrise..

Every morning, the sky over Manly writes its own version of The Bold and the Beautiful. Sometimes it’s bold—deep red, dramatic, stormy, impossible to ignore.
Other times it’s beautiful—soft pastels, quiet golden light, a gentle beginning. Whether fierce or tender, the sky always has something to say.
Watching the sunrise has become one of my favourite rituals—it’s a moment of stillness, colour, and possibility. No two mornings are ever the same, and each sunrise feels like its own little masterpiece.
Some of my favourite photos that ive captured over the past year are below..
The Fiery Morning – A sky painted in bold reds and oranges, the kind that makes you stop mid-step and just breathe it all in.

The Soft Pastel Dawn – the strokes of a paint brush blending, calm waves lapping at the shore, a reminder that not all beauty is loud.

The Storm Break – after a night of wild windy rain, moody skies.

The Everyday Sunrise – Simple, steady, golden light. Not dramatic, but comforting—like a quiet promise that a new day has begun.

Each sunrise at Manly reminds me that no matter what yesterday held, the ocean always rises to meet the sun again.
Some mornings the sky is bold—stormy, fiery, impossible to ignore. Other mornings it is beautiful—soft, glowing, quietly reassuring. Together, they remind me that life, like the sky, holds both: the bold and the beautiful.
