What a wonderful morning at the Bold and Beautiful. Indeed about as good as it gets for the 38 swimmers. 17 degrees water and the sun shining down as the waves rolled in.
Cracking swim back this morning… but wait, how on earth did this happen?
I could have sworn I was leading by 30 metres coming around the rocks. But Rob has sent me this photo of Big Rod, Sterling and Dave coming in before me… Hmmm… and then we all look up and see JP standing on the beach! It’s a miracle I tell you!
Sadly the other fellow in the above photo has passed on some sad news. A best mate to many of us in the group, Dave is heading off from Manly! We know he will be back but many of us are devo that he is moving on for now. So if you have any of Dave’s stuff now might be a good time to return it 😉
Meanwhile here is JP continuing his victory celebration…
Now I didn’t get the memo but apparently it was wear a suit to swimming day. Here is Bruce with his son the Premier.
Finally, why is there a rainbow leading to the Castle?
Because as of this Sunday, the church that I pastor is moving to the Great Hall in the castle… and you are all invited. 5pm on Sundays, 151 Darley Rd… Here is a little promo for it, and if you click on the pic it will take you to our website…
