What a difference a day makes

11/09/20144

Yesterday… rough, murky, bluebottley…

Today? Stunner.

Water was 17.2 so still a bit chilly, but what a cracking day for 52 Bold and Beautiful legends who rocked up.

The group welcomes all types of people, including giants of men… and little fellas.

Gee we are going to miss Dreamboat Dave. A better banter buddy one cannot find. I will be bringing down a lifesized cardboard cut out of Dave every morning so that we can still feel like he is here. His last swim will be next Monday morning.

When he is down in Melbourne this is how he dresses…

Bruce informs me he will be back in the pond from this Saturday. Please no one bump into him… he is very fragile.

Bit of a canter back across the bay this morning with no Scrappy Scotty, Spaniard, Irishman Alex, Brad, Sophie Chan, Super Matt or Half Way Sterling Scroll Back Brain… but still nice to bring the legs in as you come over the rocks and raise a bit of a sweat.

Several of you have asked me about helping out at the Manly Salvation Army community lunch… my church’s next turn there is on Thursday the 25th of September. I think we should make it a Bold and Beautiful special. Our church will provide the food, but if you want to come and help let me know. Is from 9:30am-12.

Much love… the Bishop!

Didn’t see you at shelly Lesbutt. Don’t believe you actually swam.
Thanks for blogging Bishop. Stunning morning. I give it 8/10.
