Today we had a guest photographer with Pauline, who was not swimming offering to take the camera to capture the essence of the morning.
Ian and Anne are always there early to get the troops in line and welcome any newbies. We sure do appreciate their contribution.
Here’s the lovely 6.30 ladies getting ready to venture out.
The Thursday yogi’s were doing their thing in perfect surroundings.
While the water truck was getting ready for the Manly Jazz Festival which starts this weekend and runs until next weekend. Someone commented they were putting some more ice in the ocean for us to keep the temperature down.
After a nasty jimble sting Susie is getting back in the water.
The 6.30ers head out right on time
Here are the 6.30’s at Shelly where there was a little bit of a surprise.
Someone obviously had a big night and thought it was a good idea to do a u-turn on the boat ramp at Shelly without too much success.
But the helpful boys of B&B thought they would try and help, also without success.
And here are our lovely retired schoolteachers Greg and Sue. Greg was on a mission this morning.
And some nice pictures of the early swimmers coming back.
As they return the 7 o’clockers head out.
Captain Planet was keen to show off his new swimmers.
And after the swim, time or a shower and a coffee.
This is me with my friend Maria who has her 6-week old granddaughter Addison visiting with her parents from the States at the moment.
More happy swimmers post swim.
Post swim the shower is the most sought after place to be.
All in all another beautiful day in paradise and a lovely swim. Sightings of Port Jacksons near Fairy Bower and the Smooth Ray near the rocks at Shelly as well as the regular pipe fish and blue gropher amongst others.
Have a great day and thanks Pauline for taking photos of the day.

after a lovely swim today, while purchasing a fluffy hot chocolate from Kane, my navy blue Speedo swimming costume disappeared from where it was sitting on my black / blue wetsuit on the ground beside the hook wall. If anyone accidentally picked it up and would like to return it, I expect to be back for a swim on Sat morning and Monday. In the meantime I will continue to swim in wetsuit, not nude; – hoping the water does not suddenly become too warm.
D,that was an enjoyable blog to read and look at. The shower queue and order of queueing does not often get recognition. Usually when I get to the queue, the lead showerers, are dressed and gone.
It’s nice to see Chris and Rob back for a swim, Ian N

It is clear the speedos have been taken by a fan. Sad about the little car. I like the photos from outside. But what was the surprise?

You’re supposed to say something funny, Rainer. This just causes problems for Lesbubs’ come-back.
