A 6 second swell from the South, much more of a wind-swell really but no wind but for the zephyr of a Westnorwester tinkering down between the Pines. A high tide and a hive of activity.
The Sun now well above the Plimsoll line at 6:30.
The 6.30 crew outnumbered the 7’s. We had photographers, drone operators and fleets of ocean kayakers all mustering at the bottom of the ramp.
The 6:30 crew on the way in.

Navigating the Point
A dusting of fishies.
The Birthday Boys, John 60 on the left and Malcolm 70 and both doing PB’s in these excellent conditions.
Really strange patterns in the sand.
And the ever faithful Panda.
Have a great week people.

Monthly Dinner – 12th September 2017 – Guest Speaker
The next B&B monthly dinner for the year will be held on Tuesday 12th September at 6.30 pm at Bluewater Restaurant. The guest speaker on the night will be Dr Tanya Evans, whose talk is entitled “20 places you should visit even though you may never have heard about them and probably can’t pronounce them”
Dr Tanya Evans is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Modern History at Macquarie University, President of the History Council of NSW and editor and author of Swimming with the Spit. Tanya’s talk will demonstrate that we B&Bs are not the first people to amble down to the beach and enjoy our invigorating morning swims. Sydney has a fascinating history of dynamic community swimming organisations. Learn all about this fascinating subject on the night.
The cost of the dinner is great value at only $25 a head, which includes shared entrees, and a selection of mains to choose from (including a vegetarian option). Glasses of beer or wine and desserts are also available at the special price of only $5 each. Numbers are limited, so bookings are essential: To avoid disappointment and secure your spot please book HERE.
