Tuesday 5th March – Autumn is in the air

March 5, 20240

So nice to sleep under the doona and wake to a cool, crisp morning.  I’m definitely happy to say goodbye to the humidity we’ve had this summer.

Our sunny spot on the wall is now in the shade and the mornings are dark.

Not a big crowd which seems to be the case on Tuesdays.

The water is still lovely at 23c but was described as a bit milky, meaning viz wasn’t great and I didn’t see a lot. A few small waves and a rip took us out but calm across the bay so a lovely swim with the sun shining. I did feel a few bities though.

Katherine,  Sheena and Merilee on their post swim coffee and chat.

Lorraine is over from Perth visiting her mum and always swims when she’s here. Sheena and Merilee keen to photobomb!

Martin and Mez waiting patiently for their coffee.

Peter, Penny,  Derek and Cath keeping the bench warm, Cath in “Ted’s corner”.

Dave (also known as Boykje since his trip to South Africa, according to Derek , meaning small boy !?) giving me some swim tips. Something to try tomorrow.

A glorious morning !

Enjoy the sunshine.

Amanda
