Thursday February 15…After the love?

15/02/20180

We enjoyed a delicious celebration of love yesterday on Valentines, beautifully exposed in Lainey’s love blog. And of course, we need to celebrate. But what’s more important is what happens after the love.

And this is not just an existential rambling about meaninglessness but the very essence of meaning. Because we know after the love there is just more love, more commitment and a doubling down not an easing off. When do customers feel most vulnerable and least satisfied with their purchase? Right after they have made the decision to buy. So for the salesperson the sale ends when the purchase is made, and for the buyer the sale is just beginning. Keen viewers of Married at First Sight will notice that when one person in the couple commits to the other is when they feel most vulnerable. That’s when they need to feel a real commitment back, not an easing off because all is well. So we know now, February 15 is the time to double down on our relationships – all of them – and follow through with all the actions that are real tangible demonstrations about we feel, and who we are.

This was exactly the mood this morning in our ‘after the love’ swim.

And we had had 9 newbies this morning, including Mike and Jenny from South London who came to the B&B as one of their highlights of their Australian visit. Here they are reading the conditions and ‘swim at your own risk’ guidelines in line with ISO 9001 and W. Edward Deming’s 14 Points of Total Quality Management which we implement with an Agile philosophy.

Thanks for being a committed (or is that ‘should be committed?’) bunch

Pete Anthony

Children are of all ages and abilities, and love the help and positive attention. If you can assist with this very rewarding program, please contact Anna Bowden at annab@royalfarwest.org.au.
