Thursday August 31st: Impending clash of titans rocks ocean swim group

31/08/20178

History may never be the same again

Nobody, not even your humble blogger, suspected such a huge clash was pending. We just gathered as usual knowing that with the ocean and our swim mates we have the whole world in our hands.

But just when we thought it was safe to proceed to the point your humble blogger, always with his nose to the ground, his ear to the wind and his journalist snout finely tuned stumbled across a scoop. A handful of our beautiful female swimmers have joined forces to become ‘Mermaids in Training’. Your blogger managed to snap a shot of the unsuspecting mermaids…

But we swimmers know that the secret to a great story is tension, lots of it. So your humble blogger was as excited as a pavlovian puppy when he witnessed the clash of the titans… mermaids versus A Teamers…

In other news your intrepid blogger was informed by two swimmers that there is a mystery goggle thief in our midst. No not one of us but clearly an interloper or out of towner who is purloining our goggles on a whim. The latest two casualties are Petra who lost a pair of ‘red sparkly’ goggles and Pat who lost a pair of ‘black with green on them’ goggles. John Kelly volunteered to accept receipt of the purloined booty and ensure it finds it way back to the rightful owners.

That’s about all the news fit for print, and I’m sure you’ll agree with all this drama we need a long hard swim.

See you in the water.

Thank you Peter. I knew something was in the wind. Once again your finely tuned sense for combatting injustice and your intrepid investigation has cracked the whole thing open. Sorry Edwina, this is bigger than all of us and requires someone of Peter’s stature for this dangerous voyage into the dark recesses of the BnB underbelly.

But I notice the Big story today was overlooked.
    The story of Biblical proportions!!!
Peter, denied being a member of the A team!!
Not once, but 3 times!! Before having his morning meal.
I am sure I have read that before somewhere?
