Thursday 9 November 2017 “Tis the Season” is upon us

09/11/20175

Christmas decorations are starting to go up around the Northern Beaches, so its time to bring out the Christmas rashies and cozzies.

Jacqui is modelling the new Cancer Council Christmas Cockatoo Rashie (say that three times quickly) which is only just out – a great Xmas present for us all and supporting a great cause.

The regulars were all out and about this morning – including Karen and Henrietta

Kerry and her friends were keen to get out there and the water was exceptional at 19 degrees.

Lovely Lisa is heading overseas soon so is ticking off as many swims as possible before her departure.

Elizabeth and Bernhard getting ready to head to Shelly.

We had to jump a few waves to get out this morning, Jeff, Bruce and Pete made it look easy.

Rainer, aka Lips has mastered the art of the photobomb, but he’s been sharing with his fellow swimmers too many tricks, they are all starting to copy his antics.

More wave jumping in the superb Xmas cossies.

And more photo bombing

John and the girls get ready to head back to Manly.

Royal Far West are thrilled with the great response from Bold and Beautiful members offering to volunteer for surfing lessons with patients.  Yesterday was the first of these lessons with our very own Bryon Merzo taking young Blake.  What a great cause and so nice to see big smiles on faces of these kids who are doing it hard.

Have a great day everyone and see you swimming again soon

Lovely blog Dee, so good to be back in the water after a few days off. Even though the visibility wasn’t great the temperature and calm waters made it very pleasant. You captured all the fun at Shelly perfectly
