Thursday 6th January Grey mornings and bumpy dogs

Good morning friends, it was another bumpy, cool morning, with a few blueys still lurking around. Very few down for the 7 am swim, with most folks deciding to join smaller friendship groups for a toilet roll swim, a Shelley Swim, or countless other cult swims that formed around COVID, bad weather, and simple companionship. I grew up reading Noddy books, and loved when Noddy  met Bumpy dog through an accident, then Noddy and bumpy became great friends. Noddy is politically incorrect now, but meeting bumpy friends by accident is still one of the great treasures in our lives. The friendship groups big and small are the heart of the wider B&B the community. And  long may a bumpy ocean keep us together and bring us new friends by accident to meet and enjoy.
