Thursday 6 September 2018: Who’s that girl?

06/09/20183

Some mornings it can be a tough battle between getting out from under the warm cozy bed sheets and committing to swim at Manly Beach.

But then we have lights in our life who make the decision to drag yourself out of bed worthwhile.

Fiona is one such person and today she was bright as a button after her early morning swim and rocking this trendy black and white dress – which in itself was a treat because we are use to seeing our swimming buddies wrapped up in their warm clothes and ugg boots.

Fi is pictured above with Ali and Mel who also swim very early in the morning, usually even before the sun comes up they venture out into the unknown with their headlights.

Jacqui has the most amazing collection of swimmers, she too was there bright as a button this morning along with Bin.  Bin taught herself to swim so she could come and swim with Bold and Beautiful and now there’s no stopping her.  Her latest venture is making herself a dress – we can’t wait to see it.

Drinky leads the 6.30 swim, pictured here with Jim and Jo, who is an excellent runner and swimmer.

Annie tells me she is loving married life, while a little birdie told me that Ian and Gayle have a wedding anniversary this weekend and our fearless leader Ian is back from the warmer waters of Fiji and swimming with us tomorrow. It 16.3 might be a bit of a shock.  I’m led to believe he is celebrating his birthday tomorrow so be sure to make sure he gets the B&B birthday treatment..

More bright buttons from this morning who always rock a happy face and smile.

Finger food included – thanks Manly Bowlo – and they aren’t charging us for the venue, so every dollar is going to the cause.
