First of all, apologies for blogging without swimming, not sure if this is allowed in the Constitution of the B&B… It´s been a while since my last swim due to competitions and a dislocated shoulder and considering the conditions today, I think a lot of swimmers will stay in bed (wise decision). During these few weeks I´ve had time to think about the water, too much maybe and Alice has been the closest to the swim I could get convincing her to get a pair of fins and start doing the way to Shelly.

My point today, though, is what we dream about. One of the theories says that dreams are images of our subconscious, in other words, dreams are those ideas in our mind that we are not aware of them or that we don´t think that we think about. And even better, the subconscious is one of the most powerful drivers on what we do: the subconscious will drive our day-to-day actions in a more powerful way than our conscious!
It is very interesting the different fears, motivations, ideas,… that brings every morning to the swim and I´m quite sure that most of them are driven by our subconscious. So, did you ever dream about the swim? It will be very interesting to hear about different dreams about the swim.
I know for example, that Sterling might have dreamt about the day he gets to the Surf Club being the champion of the Triple Crown, Scotty about the rocks at the point, JP about a new wetsuit, Dave about the next Storm of the Century, Lips about Jimbles, or Tim just about his brother JimBob,…

So what are your dreams related to the swim about?

In another note, this Spring’s Triple Crown had only one name and it was JimBob. Congratulations to the new Triple Crown Champion who excelled in the first two races with two consecutive wins! The handling of the Cup will be this Saturday but if you see him before that remember to congratulate him!

Also, this Friday, Tim´s church Manly Life, like every first Friday of the month, organizes an evening at the Salvation Army for worship and prayer. A great opportunity to do service in our Manly community.
Have a great Thursday everyone!

A very thought provoking blog. I often day dream about the swim and just enjoy how it has set me up for the day. Today I must have been day dreaming too much because I left my costume (pink/colourful) in the ladies change room! If anyone found it could you bring it tomorrow. I hope everyone has a dreamy day

wasn’t as bad as it looked today! lots of salps in the water though … spotted quite a few jimbles too but they looked to be deeper than usual (to avoid water motion maybe?), so no stings thankfully …

What a swim! Loved every second of it.
Great theme Spaniard. I sometimes dream of being a jimble, dreaming of being a dugong, dreaming of being Shaun. A dream in a dream in a dream if you like.
