Well before I get to the one rule that Sterling broke this morning… gosh it’s nice to come down to this! What a way for Storchy to celebrate his birthday at booty camp!
This wonderful rose between the thorns is leaving us soon to head back home to Europe. Eva will be deeply missed (and I’m secretly hoping she will be back)…
Well what is the rule that Sterling broke? All we ask for as we get in, on a coolish morning, is that no one splashes other people! Unbelievable… there were calls for Sterling to hand in his A-team cap after he splashed Dave and Big Vin! If we don’t keep the rules… chaos will follow 😉
Nice to see super mum Lucy enjoying the morning!
Conditions remain good!
Well it was a lovely swim back across the bay. Jimbob donned the wetsuit for the first time and gave everyone a good lesson in how to swim! Irishman Alex was the early leader, but he gave it up midway across the Bay. Newport John was fast finishing and JP somehow managed to tangle himself in the rocks!
ps. Sterling needs to add another 3 fingers to accurately represent where he finished!
I’m talking this Sunday on how to keep good relationships in community. Apparently interpersonal relationships at work and elsewhere are one of the major stresses and causes of anxiety in our society. Often when things go wrong our immediate reaction is to justify our own behaviour (as JP says ‘everyone is a hero in their own story’). The temptation is then to either fight or flight… to go head on, or to remove ourselves from the relationship or community. It’s an interesting area… so a bit more reading up on it today… but what seems to be helpful is love – trying to put others ahead of ourselves, having a forgiving spirit and trying to understand other people’s positions. It’s not an easy one is it… but a good thing for all of to work on – because there is nothing as beautiful as living in community!
Have a great day – The Bishop!

I agree with Emma, and a bit of kindness never goes astray. Breaking rules – all part of the fun. Ted and Rainer are always splashing 😜 Lovely pics.
