A lot of the time, the Bold and Beautiful swim is more beautiful. The water is calm, the light soft, and the swim feels like meditation in motion. But every so often, there’s a boldness about it – the kind that makes your heart race before you even hit the water.
There’s something about watching the waves build, watching your friends ride them and swim through them. It makes you feel alive. It definitely is bold!

There’s a special energy on mornings like this – when the surf is up and the excitement ripples through the group. Among the different pods within the Bold and Beautiful, there’s one that always catches my eye: Snoopy’s Surf Safari.
It’s pure joy to watch them – their childlike excitement as they stand at the surf club, pointing out the sets rolling in, making all the oohs and ahhs as if they’re witnessing magic for the very first time. And in a way, they are. Each wave is different, unpredictable, and alive – a reminder that the ocean will always have the final say.

And then they’re off – timing their dash perfectly between the sets, diving beneath the breakers, disappearing into the whitewash.
From the shore, you can feel the thrill of it – the surge, the laughter, the chaos that somehow finds its rhythm. And when they come out of the water, it’s impossible not to smile.
Their faces are alive with joy, eyes bright, voices tumbling over each other as they relive the ride. There’s something so wonderfully childlike about it – that pure, uncomplicated happiness of being in the moment. I love their energy. I love running up to them, sharing the buzz, letting it spark through me. It’s contagious – that sense that life is meant to be felt, not just observed.

Maybe that’s what being bold really is – not just diving into the surf, but moving with whatever the ocean gives you. Some days it’s calm and glassy, other days it’s wild and unpredictable.
Either way, you learn to trust the rhythm, to let go, to flow with it. And somewhere in that mix of courage and surrender, you find yourself grinning like a kid again – alive, awake, and exactly where you’re meant to be.
