Today I was grateful I could swim all the way from manly to Shelly and back and no walking was involved. The surf has been so big I’ve avoided the more adventurous aspects of the swim .
Below is nats photo from her morning walk
These blokes were already out and dry when I was prepping to start
Others waiting for the official start time of 7am
Today it was mostly calm, some waves to catch on the return at manly with increasing clarity each day and warming temps as well.
Yesterdays eagle ray , one of my favourite marine creatures
Today’s groper , never as friendly as Gary the blue groper
This lady swam with her children , well done to them
Massive thanks to the life guards who go above and beyond, in my opinion, for the pink caps. Caught them watching out today even on a relatively calmer day. Apparently in one week recently they rescued between 50-70 of our swimmers . They’re all wonderful but this guy gets to rep them today
A selfie of me with Nat, she’s the selfie queen
No stats cos management are away. Temperature, thanks John bond, is about 20 degrees.
Have a nice day, Edwina
