Sunny Saturday!

27/07/20196

Conditions were perfect today with a calm beach and bay, mildy cold temperature outside and in the water, and a lovely sunny day waiting for us as we finished our swim. A handful even braved doubles and triples or a boulderdash Mr Maher!

I caught these early birds running out of the water, they’ve just returned from a trip to tropical Tonga.

This is Rory from Canberra getting the tips from Anne

His brother Luke joined him in the swim and reports afterwards were positive, positive, positive. They’ll be returning I think.

Next couple of swimmers  I encountered were Louise and Liska ( who only started swimming in the last 6-12 months, before that she couldn’t swim 50m apparently. ) They’ve both signed up for a little triathlon in Huskisson at the end of the year, yay!

More people preparing to unrobe and get into the swim

It was Chris’ birthday today, not sure if there was a song cos I’m always late arriving, but happy birthday!!

Three people I always love to see and chat to: Anne, Brian and Shelley. Anne’s off on a holiday Monday, happy holidays! A well earned break.

Gatherings at the point:

The only Port Jackson shark I saw today. Thank you Pauline for your sharp eyesight.

A belated birthday song for Lucy from during the week:

Leveena Denton left her goggles in the change rooms, if anyone saw some on the floor under a bench, please hand it to the management table tomorrow. They’re blue speedos.

Stats: Temperature 17 degrees, felt like 16! Six new swimmers and 280 total swimming.
