Today was one of those days that makes most other swims awesome. An easterly wind had whipped up some chop and brought in a few bluebottles – hopefully nobody got stung. The waves were ok, but it was a little bumpy at the point at low tide.
However, as the saying goes, I never regret a swim and this morning was no exception. I had borrowed a GoPro from my nephew and had every intention of capturing some footage of the amazing marine life we have here at Cabbage Tree Bay. Alas, all I ended up with was a bunch of d-grade videos!
I spliced some of these together so that you can see the conditions for yourself, but hopefully I have set suitably low expectations on the quality…
