Sunday 30 May 2021 Reports of 8-9m Swell exaggerated

Don’t believe everything you hear about the swim conditions. It is best to come and have a look. Today there was a fairly flat sea with an occasional set of biggish waves and the temperature was 17.7.

The reports did not discourage all. Here is the A team. Some excellent swimmers here

Here is Rusty the Fish (Alternating Friday blogger with Chippo) and friend Peter. I admire them as they all have nicknames. I don’t have one. I learned decisively in high school that you cannot make up a good nickname for yourself (and a good nickname is not one that involves explanation). I will make do with meeting people who have nicknames.

I am amazed at the song lyrics that Rusty and Chippo refer to in their blogs. I can’t remember the title of songs or lyrics like that but if the tune starts up, I cam remember all the lyrics. Apparently so can people affected by dementia. Music is special
