SUNDAY 11 OCTOBER 2020 MASSIVE HUNT

11/10/20203

BB is not swimming as a group

Today I stopped counting at one million swimmers. The surface of the sea was covered by swimmers in beautiful caps, all searching for either the two healthy turtles that were released yesterday or the sick turtle that is to be collected today. Like the fingertip or grid search conducted on a tv crime show, no square cm of the surface was left uncovered.

So I took some photos on land as well

Paul is such a card. Also a great swimmer

Sophie’s 500 km

Only two of the people in the celebration arch got int the shot

Every minute an instalment of swimmers entered like a scene from Lord of the Rings but better looking than Orcs

This swimmer had to go below the surface as there was no room above.

I did not see the turtle

However, I spoke to Juliette who did and tried to find me. But in such a crowd she did not manage. It was so very kind to try.

We already have a benefit from the turtles – not a single jimble today. I hope the turtles eat up big

Have a great day

Thank you Elizabeth for doing so many fabulous blogs. You should be swimmer of the day every day.
