Smile why don’cha!

Sometimes I wonder if the sand knows if it’s coming or going, if it’s Arthur or Martha or simly as mad as a two-bob watch. This is the end of the ramp, barely discernible from the start of the sand.

Who know what it’ll be like tomorrow or next week? Still, entry and exit would have been easy this morning.

Water pollution sign was up and I imagine the lifeguards won’t open the beach for a while.

I’ve been battling a sinus related sore ear this week and went to the doctor, fearing an ear infection. No infection, but worse, the dreaded Swimmer’s Ear – exostoses. Had a long conversation with Drinks about it and he told me about the procedure to remove them. Not going to disclose this but it’s not simple (definitely not keyhole surgery) and it freaked me out enough to make an appointment for custom ear plugs at Audika Balgowlah.

My lovely ginger ninja Charlie is approaching the end of his life (he’s pushing 17 and we got him as a 4 year old rescue so it’s a very good innings) This morning I was feeling a little despondent but the happy banter around the hole-in-the wall cafe was a fantastic pick-me-up as was the coffee made under the watchful eye of the world’s best barisa, Vitor. More than enough to lift the spirits.

Here’s a couple of happy customers

Deb and me complete with Vitamin Sea endorphin smiles, with expert photgraphy by Andrew – with subjects like us and a backdrop like this, you just can’t go wrong!

Michell and Martin back from a loooooong holiday that sound completely amazing. They look happy to be back.

These very very handsome gentlemen obligingly agreed to pose. Look at those happy faces!

I didn’t go into the water today but here is a close-up of one of my diving buddies from a couple of months ago.Look at that smiley face, isn’t he cute?

Have a great day everyone!
