Scrappy Scotty the Winter Rabbit

Hello people of the Bold and Beautiful… Our numbers of swimmers is still a bit thin, after this weeks sharky drama on a wooly, wintery, windy morning…

This photo doesn’t quite capture the size of the swell on the point. The A-team always get in at 7:07am so as to minimise time waiting at Shelly Beach. The result was a big set of waves on our heads…

This guy is lining up for Blues in game 3 of Origin next Wednesday night. Storchy has had a great season for the Manly Mungrels this year, leading the pack in carries, yards and tackles made.

I recently purchased some beautiful bluestone from My Barefoot Living himself… Drinksy! How could you not be a happy customer when your dealing with the nicest bloke in Manly.

Cumbo took on an angry sea… and won.

Babe watch was low on participants this morning… with only the team captains turning up.

And the winner of todays swim… Scrappy Scotty the Winter Rabbit. He took off early from Shelly in speedos and was chased by the wetsuited Denver and myself across the bay. Big wave on the point to decide the winner… and the Winter Rabbit came up smiling!

Finally, lots of discussion about the shark attack this week at the table of knowledge… Was it really an angry leatherjacket? What was happening in the tidal swept pond? Who was watching from the grassy knoll? Why is the flag in the moon landing flapping in the wind? More questions than answers at this stage…
