Sat 7/11: Clearly defined

07/11/20158

I tested my new wetsuit today.  I’ve only ever worn a sleeveless so the full arm felt really tight around my chest.  My concerns were ‘washed’ away once I entered the water.  Buoyant bliss!  I was a missile cutting a line through the slight chop with ease 😀  Like my wetsuit, my photos today reflect clearly defined lines …

Even sets of waves:

Sunlight spilling over the precipice of cloud:

Forward motion:

The path of swimmers:

The streaking contours of the clouds and the vertical palms reaching skyward:

The horizon:

Sunshine and shadows:

Thanks for a great swim everyone. Have a lovely weekend.

Anna.

Staying safe

Remember that there are no badges for scaring yourself silly! While it is great to extend your boundaries, it is important to know your limits.  Also, if you have a bit more experience, keep an eye out for new swimmers who might need company. Notice Board

Our own Jenny Callaghan competed in the Heron Island swim last weekend.  She finished third in the 1 km swim and fifth in the 3 km swim.  Well done, Jenny!

Lost and Found: A silicone ‘Germany’ swim cap found in the surf last week has been handed into management.

Sun and cloud photo is lovely. The jombles were put in force today but nil stings for me. Their mind games are driving me crazy.
