The air temperature was 6 degrees this morning so I asked a few B&Bers what motivates them to swim. Winter (Solstice) is coming after all. This is what I found:
Commitment. This fellow commits to come every Saturday, and so he does:
Atmosphere. The people, the interaction, the vibe. “It’s like a drug”:
Coffee. Nothing like a winter warmer! These ladies can smell it swimming back across the bay:
Competition. A post B&B discussion made it clear. Some like to climb the ladder!
Buzz. Sure, writing the blog is an excellent motivator, but for me it is immersion in the ocean, spotting fish, the water streaming past me, and the amazing feeling of satisfaction as I walk up the ramp.
Enjoy the weekend 😀

Thanks to Jason who got from the sea a pair of list white goggles. Are you swimming tomorrow? If so Jason Anne may bring the lost property bag to check for your goggles
