What do you after a bruising night of watching the idiot box? Wounds to lick, frustrations to be exercised out, competitive energies to be channeled! Get down to the Bold and Beautiful of course…
It was a chilly morning. Sophie who was an expert Girl Guide consulted her survival guide and decided to share some warmth… The ever reliable Anne tells me it was over 17 degrees again and about 100 swimmers took to the sea!

Some heat radiating off Mr Panton too… down girls…

James sent me the following couple of shots from Shelly Beach. After some scintillating form he is land bound after cutting his finger on the rocks (doesn’t want to affect his guitar playing).

So that left the Spaniard and me to race goggle to goggle back to Manly. Sterling had kindly given me some new photo chromatic Zoggs goggles so it was time for a big hit out. It ended up another dead heat in a time of 7:27… still a fair way off last winters record of 7:03.

Finally it was off to Manly Wine for a post swim debrief. Sterling notches up his 1000km this Saturday and is busy planning his own celebration! But well done to Sterling… one of the true nice guys in the world, and an integral part of our swimming community! Here he is with JP… they were off to get their junior real estate licenses from Kaplan College of International Cuisine.

Have a great day. It is going to be a great month of sport with The Ashes and The Tour… and the Bold and Beautiful…

Thanks again for another Thursday update Tim. I hear the Spaniard is planning to peak in time for the next triple crown so 727 is in the right direction.
