Old Men in Small Speedos

This morning hundreds of people woke up with the same thought… ‘I’m off to the Bold and Beautiful for a splash!’

And what can you expect to see on arrival? Well… plenty of old men in small speedos…

I’m hoping that will be me in 40 years time…

Also Matty Cumbo emerging from the 6:30am dip, smiling from ear to ear!

It’s been a great summer so far – the jimbles are but a distant memory, not too many blue bottle days and the water has been warm and pretty flat!

Richie Rich who dines on caviar and champagne from his apartment overlooking Manly Beach each evening made an appearance.

We are off with the Baker’s and Mellis clan on our annual family holiday next week, down to Culburra Beach. 6 kids under 5, and 6 adults packed into a house… what could possibly go wrong? Each night a different family cooks (trying to outdo the night before), makes a signature cocktail and dessert. I’m going for 8 hour slow roast lamb this year. What will Toddy do?

Who had the pace this morning? None other than Fabulous Fi, who may I add has perfect swimming technique. I road her feet the whole way and made a lucky pass around the rocks! It was a hollow victory 😉

Still she slapped down The Ghost, the Kid, Toddy, The Hong Kong twins and all other comers…

Finally let’s talk eligible bachelors. Newport John is an A-team swimmer, works at Shore as a Business Studies teacher and has good personal hygiene.
