The children’s dreaming brings the dawn,
Their laughter carries the sun across the sky.
And in its setting reflected all the wonder
Of their knowing and their growing.
Our tomorrows lie safely protected
In the fragile heart of the child.

The secret to eternal youth is simple.
Greet every day with the awe and wonder of a child.
Nuture the child within…
Chris is nurturing his inner child, and his inner Miley Cyrus (you should see him twerk)
Speaking of twerking, Cara styling with childlike abandon
Here’s Ros, she gets to go to big school after her swim…
Fresh faced ‘Besties’ giggling by the beach
The inner child has no where to hide when you’re smiling
Be king of the kids
And shine away the shadows
Young Dylan Reminds us, “You better start swimming…”
This is before the coffee kicked in
And what do you want to be when you grow up…
…Happy
Then be.
Warm Regards,
Andrew ‘Magichands’ Maher.

Bear Cottage Big Swim!!!
To help Bear Cottage continue its essential work, on the 21st of June, 2014, 9 swimmers from the Bold & Beautiful swim group will each be attempting to swim the 14.2 km between two of Sydney’s most iconic beaches – Manly and Bondi.
The swim will mark the culmination of months of committed training and planning, countless hours spent in the pool and ocean. On the day itself, each swimmer will face the hazards of fatigue, hypothermia, strong swells, jellyfish, and the ever present threat of sharks.
Please give generously and nurture the lives of the Bear Cottage children

To get started, send an email to Ian Forster ugoboyo@gmail.com (This is not a link so please copy and paste into your email). He will check that your email address is activated on the attendance register then send you info on how to get started.
Staying safe
We have had seen the return of some serious waves and rips this past week! Were you prepared? Remember that there are no badges for scaring yourself silly! While it is great to extend your boundaries, it is important to know your limits. Do read these excellent tips on staying safe in the surf. To read, or even download, click here.

What a spectacle this morning! Beautiful waves, even the Bombora breaking, lovely swimming conditions and whilst connecting with our fellow Inner Children over coffee, a pod of a dozen (mostly very large) dolphins put on a real show. They swam across the bay in front of us towards Queensie and caught some great waves with the surfers at North Steyne. Wow!
See Sprout Daily!

Right! That’s the last time I put ‘all of myself’ into a photo for Magic Hands and it doesn’t even make the blog!!

Totes, Lesbutt! But considering the way Magic Hands reacted when he saw the photo, maybe he was doing you a favour?! Plus, based on your usual blog photos, it’s probably for the best that it’s on the cutting room floor…

Hey thanks for comments.
For those of you who posed for shots and didn’t make the cut I apologise.
This camera is not the best. At least half the shots are blurry or the ‘moment’ has past by the time the camera actually takes the photo. Pretty much every photo that is useable gets posted on my the blog. Even some that aren’t…

Just don’t hug me too tightly LSA – I’ve broken a rib! But will swim tomorrow, even more slowly than usual.
