Gayle & Ian swam with this lovely lady Sarah Abbott (Shes a bit shy ! unless she camera pointed at her) on Monday going from Manly to Queenscliff then back to Manly to meet the 7 o’clockers then swim to Shelly then back to Manly 4.5K known as the “Belly”a bolderdash & a Shelly combined !

The B & B Christmas Party is on Tuesday 9th December at 6.30 pm in the Moonshine Bar (2nd Floor) at the Steyne Hotel. All swimmers and partners/friends are welcome. The theme this year is simply “Christmas“. So come dressed in your finest Christmas paraphernalia. There is no need to be shy, as we will have the whole bar to ourselves. The Steyne will provide finger food and pizza, with drinks at bar prices. Lots of fun and dancing guaranteed, with music by our own band “The Troubadors“, who have generously agreed to perform free of charge for us on the night. The cost is $10 per head, with all proceeds going to the running costs of the B&B. Our charity partner, the Royal Far West Children’s Home, will also be running a monster raffle on the night, so please come prepared to support them. Bookings are essential. Book HERE now! I’ll keep an eye out for the mumbling man, sounds scary, but apparently it was a very traumatic experience for him when he saw the new B&B calendar ! We also need to be careful of his accomplice goes by the name LSA she is also usually settled by the mere sight of a camera, but otherwise approach with caution ! ! she shanghaied some poor unsuspecting people in swimming to Queensie and back, then makes them swim to Shelly before they are allowed back to shore ! I escaped on Monday ,but Gayle got caught up with her .
Anyway Fantastic blog, keep up the great work !

Nice blog Shells. Quick question: if you do a Bolderdash and then a normal swim is it called a Shelly B’elly? If you were originally from India and there were two people with your name so we had to differentiate would it be a Delhi Shelly B’elly? If doing that swim often results in scrapes like Ians and you scraped your tummy would it be Delhi Shelly B’elly Belly? If your cuts were so bad that it looked like unset Raspberry flavoured Aeroplane jelly should we describe it as Delhi Shelly B’elly Jelly Belly?

GAYLE IS A STAR!!!! Totally abandoned by her husband somewhere out by the shark-net on Monday, she valiantly continued her Belly swim alone while he wimped out and made for the nearest rescue craft….
