The Allen girls ran the first 1/2 Booty camp today, we hope to see them again on Friday !!!

Elliott excelled in the crawling race ! (its his speciality)

Henrietta and the gals happy to pose

I’m not saying who this is …. but she is VERY pregnant.

Ted with the “Rosenator” bombing in behind.

I think this was Attracta

We all wait at the “point” for JKs “Lets Go” nobody dares to sneek off, do they ?

lainey, Brad the dad & lovely Lucy with bump below.

Note to self ! dont take pics into sun.

Brian & Derek, What’s with the wetsuits boys it’s 22.5 degrees ! !!!!!!!!!

Take a close up ! said Michael Stacey, so I did ! ! !

Lainey filling in for lips, seems to get into most shots.

Jenny Knapman did the “Lets go” from shelly and they were off…

The rain washed a lot of rubbish into the water, if everyone just picks up a bit like Ted & Ian did we will all have cleaner beaches or is Ted just covering up Tayls Butt.

Breakfast at the tables is all part of the swim ! (its not all about swimming @ B&B)

Lainey (again) with most of “The Lads”

IMPORTANT NOTICE

On Saturday 24th January and Sunday 25th January, our swim will commence at Shelly Beach at 7 am. This is necessary due to Surf Carnivals being held at Manly SLSC. Please do NOT leave your belongings at the surf club, as they will obstruct the running of the events.

AUSTRALIA DAY

As usual, Australia Day will be massive. We will be meeting back at the surf club as normal. Please try to arrive early and wait on the beach if possible to avoid congestion on the walkway. This year, we are encouraging everyone to wear our national colours/flags or other paraphernalia. It should be an impressive sight.

More importantly, we are using the occasion to raise money for our favourite charity, Royal Far West Children’s Home. We ask everyone to bring along a gold coin donation to say thank you to RFW, who manage all of our merchandise for us. If you are planning to bring new swimmers along, can you please make sure you arrive in plenty of time to get them registered. Make sure they bring a gold coin as well.

Staying safe

Remember that there are no badges for scaring yourself silly! While it is great to extend your boundaries, it is important to know your limits. Do read these excellent tips on staying safe in the surf. To read, or even download, click here.
