This weekend more than 2500 people are doing 100km Oxfam walk
Why? Because they have not discovered ocean swimming. Before starting with B and B I had not swim outside the flags before! Look at the venue
The best people
John Bond swam early because the temp was a cold 16.8 and dropping
I encountered these two swimmers in the sea – what a contrast in swimming capability to me! Just shows B and B includes us all
Personally I have never heard the ‘let’s go’ at the point but Angus did
Then at Shelly nick and Juri set off with a surge of energy
And the die hard doubler/triplers
So much fish life courtesy of Peter Barfod
on the way to the bower a catfish was lolling about near the surface
say cheese!
some creatures that you see are really strange (I picked up the elephant wash cloth sea-side of the bower). Perhaps a caption would be beneficial from the blogosphere.
another of those dangerous PK sharks on patrol on the bower
a ray taking a rest at the point
Temp: 16.8
Newbies: 5
Swimmers: 169

Dear Elizabeth the original, great inaugural blog, congratulations from Elizabeth the latecomer, or one of the additional E’s, not sure if I am still the newest E or what number I am, hence the x.

There were sightings of an apparent Grey Nurse Shark today! I snorked all over the place but missed it. Edwina got some photos – Please would you post them Edwina, it’s a very rare event!

Oh – and those PJ pics are magnificent! Don’t you love their funny teeth? Loved the Striped catfish and the Smoo9th Ray too.
