95 swimmers including 11 newbies opted to risk the easterly and the chance of blueys
by diving into the 23.5 deg swell
it’s a no from us
I’ll settle for a toasty
we chose to do the right thing

Really great blog Simon, especially the surfing pics. I am glad that, based on the Blueys yesterday, I refrained today. Still recovering from last weeks stings. Awesome effort to 1500km! Inspiring.

Great blog Simon. You missed an awesome effort by the very last pink cap to get in through the surf. I was watching from the point as he swum south, then north trying to get out of rips, and finally made it in by the flags.
