A big, wonderful, fabulous merry Christmas to everyone at the Bold and Beautiful! What a wonderful way to celebrate Christmas Day with a gorgeous swim.
Great to see so many families swimming together… there must have been a couple of hundred swimmers today!
A little known fact is that there was a giraffe at the birth of Jesus… and also at the swim today. Sterling also chose to wear Christmas wrapping paper instead of swimmers. No comments about unwrapping him please.
It was a beautiful swim today – a few small waves but otherwise very calm conditions. At Shelly Beach a few of us sung O Come Let Us Adore Him and then we sung happy birthday to the baby Jesus…
It was lovely to see so many of you at our Christmas Eve service last night too… I counted at least 20 bold and beautiful friends! We celebrated the birth of Christ the King with carols, a reading by Sterling and a message from (me) the Bishop! Whatever your beliefs, it is a great time of year to reflect on what is most important to us… family, friendship, the gift of our health, a wonderful community and of course our precious swim. And for those who follow Christ, that the Prince of Peace has come into the world! Joy to the World…
Great to see Mrs Clause make an appearence too…
Well finally we are one leg into the triple crown (Christmas Eve) and it was a decisive win for the Spaniard…
But the other one we will all be watching tomorrow in leg two is Brad – he is on fire at the moment, coming a close second yesterday…
And of course dont count out Irishman Alex, the Bishop or the defending champ, Scrappy Scotty Mellis!
Alright everyone, whatever you are doing today, may it be filled with peace, joy and goodwill. Much love to you all.

Thanks for blogging today Mr B.
I was with the last stayers at the benches and brought home a stray thermos if anyone’s noticed they’re missing one.

Have a great day everyone and Merry Christmas from us both!
Just about to head off for another rather chilly swim at Big Wave Bay in the surf with our surfer friends here followed by a Thai or Japanese lunch….

Hi everyone
Much love to you all for a very Merry Christmas – best present ever was to share the start of the day with so many of you. Though a few of our beloved Pink Cappers were absent this am and were missed. Hope the spirit of Christmas settles on you all lightening burdens and brightening your days XX
