Magic morning…

07/11/20204

I started at Shelley beach today, not because of rough conditions, but because I”ve had some back trouble and wanted to enter easily and slowly in shallow water. Conditions at Manly looked lovely as I drove past. My pre swim view, plenty of early swimmers stopping before they set off again.

I came across these on the sand, somemone wants to have a comfortable exit straight into their thongs.

Then I found a gorgeous sleeping wobbegong not far from the pool

As you can see clarity was good, and conditions were lovely. Just a tiny swell of movement in the water, nothing to raise any concerns. Once I swam over the bay to the bower break, it was a bit rougher, with skiers making the most of the waves. There was also less clarity and lots of whale snot in the water. Brownie the turtle had been sighted I believe then returned to his rock to sleep. I saw some paddle skiers and then some other swimmers starting at Shelley- Sue and co.

Then literally as I turned to swim to Shelley, I bumped into a cormorant fishing , so we had a swim together. Most photos will probably go to social media, but I”ll post a few here. It was certainly a fascinating experience to watch.

Lovely cormorant with plenty to eat. Ekaterina saw the turtle. I did not. But I saw a jimble. No sting. Take care of your back. It links everything
