Mad Dogs and Englishmen

March 29, 20240

Never thought we’d ever end

Is it that time. The light has almost gone. The carnival moves on

Caroline’s Pitch Report:

Hot Cross Buns. It’s 22.1C. DX continue their romance with the dark, lights flashing across the bay. A 20 foot Grey Nurse was sighted! (trust me, it was big). on the outward journey and then again at the point. Ian and Emma leave us, mad dogs these Englishmen, why would you leave? The Baker produces, scones, a debate around jam or cream first. Insults are traded. Savages, Cavemen. Imbiciles! The Baker wants a food fight. FFF in little swimmers. Clear, flat, delightful. Full of sea life

Like a picture from Moonraker…007 and Jaws reunion

Guy Ritchie could write a mean series about these lot. I’m looking forward to seeing Matt in a chicken suit.

3 of the most genuine people I’ve ever met. Bon Voyage Emma and Ian. You will be missed. Andre is going no-where and will continue to be one of the bedrocks of our communityl.

Meanwhile the mighty Machine Men welcome new members, Baz the Pom and his side kick Ferg the Pom. One door opens. Early dark swims this week & Faahany ditches the tinted goggles for foggy ones. DT returns from a Russian beach resort. Normy and Baz swap Ironman recipes. We talk football, artificial breasts, nicotine patches for performance enhancement, Russian g-strings and beetroot juice shortages.

Thanks for the swim and coffee Team! Remember don’t let your true love run cold!

and Ian, mate, it’s time for some more Aussie education… a song for the plane ride home. One of the greatest Aussie bands wrote a song for you:
