11-12-2019 Calm waters after a super celebration!

 

The end of the year is here, Christmas is around the corner, stress levels are high, our ‘to do’ lists are longer than the leg of Michael Sheehan’s pyjama pants, there’s smoke on the water, ash on the beach but that didn’t deter B&Bers who found time to dress up & gather in force to celebrate the Annual B&B Xmas party last night!

Speaking of Michael Sheehan, we didn’t see him last night but Santas little helper elf here held an uncanny resemblance.

Early in the night people were looking fabulous…

But luckily, it’s not all about what you look like, eh Shaun?

It’s also about community, support, sharing, kindness and giving – particularly important in these challenging times!!

Last night we raised money for our charity partner, Royal Far West-which provides health support to bush kids in real need. A huge thanks to everyone for helping raise $1,500 to go to providing more of these health services for kids! All the raffle tickets were sold!!

Eric, Janet, Jo, Gaby, Brian won a bike!! Kathryn Sadler won 7 nights accommodation at Drummond House!

Huge thanks to Royal Far West staff Des, Kim and Tara for volunteering yet again at a BandB event. Those ladies are legends!

A huge thanks to the band, Gluteus Maximums, who kept everyone dancing all night!

The band was so good that even santa and snowman got their groove on!

And last but not least – huge thanks to Management for making this all happen and manage to still stay calm – year after year after year! You guys rock!

Today was a beautiful calm day at the beach with clear water and wobble sightings and not much ash on the sand!
