I love a king tide even though the increased volume of water often means there’s less sea life to see, so you can imagine my surprise when this mysterious creature appeared. I was mesmerised and when she dived away I started to follow her.

but a nudge from this friendly puffer fish brought me to my senses just in time

The misty morning air added to the feelings of mystery

But the brave Manly LSC folk were not to be deterred from thier pursuit of physical prowess (no wonder they always do so well at carnivals). Off they go.

From the water the Flags of the Northern Beaches were visible

as were the land locked mermaids, mooning the swimmers as usual

Not that much to see in the water today tbh so here are some squid from yesterday who were cooperative enough for me to get some half way decent shots
