17/03/14 – Waves of Possibility

17/03/201413

It is hypothesised by physicists that the whole universe exists only as wave functions of infinite possibility, and it is through the interaction with you, the observer, that these wave functions collapse into the substantial particles of reality that we think we are experiencing.
Your thoughts, your passions, your fears and aspirations affect the reality that is popping in and out of existence every moment.

These swims are where our day is born, they are our waves of possibility.  Possessing all the potential of a one-day-old child, it is here we begin to create our day.  And as co-creators of this particular Monday, every one of you of takes your experience forward as a gift to those you encounter.  The countenance you carry forth from the water has an effect on your world.

What kind of a day are you making and what are you doing with the waves of possibility you shared this morning?..

For some, today’s conditions included a powerful swell, large waves and unfriendly rips.  For others, the experience was an opportunity to dive deeper and feel the flow…

With some of the group opting to enter halfway and others swimming out through the surf there was no official “Let’s Go”.

Still, we all let go…

Some even kept going after reaching the sand at Shelley Beach.  Facing east and lying prostrate in gratitude for terra firma…

Ian also reminding us that the morning is what we make of it… By telling us we can make our way to the halfway stairs; or make our way through the waves and that gentle rip (that started a long way out in the bay)…

This morning’s swim welcomed a group of Japanese students, from…   Japan.

Gandalf the St Patricks Day Leprechaun joined The Table of Widsom…

And sat next to Chris who was happily getting through all his birthday coffee’s…

Did those Japanese (girls) realise it was some random stranger taking a photo of them in their bikinis! ;-p
It used to be: the ONLY camera down there each day was the BNB blogger! tsk tsk

A big thanks to Andrew & Simon for taking on the Monday Waves of Possibility Blog as Co-Bloggers! Love all the different styles and interests of the bloggers….
Attendance lower today but for those of us who took the easy Half Way option, it was glassy and beautiful and for some of us very Early-birds, a lovely full-moon reflecting on the water….
Stay safe and find the option that keeps the swim enjoyable for you!

Flags, schmags. To be eligible for a tick you must be a little more adventurous, and at least reach the point, or swim from half way to Shelly.

BTW, every single person in the push-up photo is doing it in a manner that can/will lead to injury… Just saying.
