I love autumn!!

07/04/201812

I love autumn for so many reasons, but from a swimming point of view- the water is warm and clear , calmer seas than the peak of summer, with plenty of marine life to explore.

Today’s pre sunrise sky was a pretty pink with hardly any wind. The actual sunrise I was swimming throughout,  a spectacular golden ball with bright pink clouds. I got dumped yesterday and apart from somersaulting underwater and protecting my head with my hand the camera died . So no underwater photos today, and hopefully the iPhone won’t turn everything sideways .

Its the first splashn’dash I’m told for manly today, people were setting up early before our swam began.

There were 12 newbies today , here’s Richard with non newbie James .

I found everyone’s favourite white poodle being charmed by beautiful Jessie , apparently Shaun also spent time playing with the pooch .

Tim and friend were getting ready for the onslaught of all the people fitting into cabbage tree bay. Today’s count 512!! It gets crowded in the bay sometimes, remember to keep your eyes peeled for anything and everything. There were dolphins yesterday, today I saw a spotted eagle Ray with no tail then a baby one following along. Duskys are around and the turtle has been sighted .

The crowds descend into the water, I walked around to meet them after swimming early.

Shelley, Danny  and John waited patiently for the large crowd at the other end , sitting with the sun on their backs.

A beautiful view as everyone returned safely to manly . Let’s hope these perfect conditions continue for a while

There’s no monthly dinner this Tuesday, only 7 people were interested in bikram yoga!! What!! How could that be? I’m on a 12 hour night shift otherwise I would have gone, Bluewater cancelled in any case. For those who are new to the group it’s a relaxed night where anyone chats with anyone. Come along by yourself or with someone and meet people.

Melissa and Shaun are both recovering from different shoulder injuries, check the increased range of movement they have now. Keep up the rehab guys

Warer temp today 22.8 and almost like a bath with lots of pretty fish keeping us company.

I love autumn and I love Napoleon

breakfast is another way to meet swimmers, always a table or two at Bluewater for the group post swim

I’m off for a cycle in Singleton , enjoy the weekend everyone

Ooops… you know I hate to commit!
Just because you have pretty little tootsies doesn’t mean you can be mean to others less advantaged than yourself
